Touch and low humidity can affect its lifespan. When both are minimized, the moss artwork will stay beautiful for many years.

No. The moss is preserved with a natural preservative, so it is no longer alive. This keeps it green, soft, and maintenance-free.

Most moss creations on our website use preserved moss. We also offer living moss, but this is not suitable for moss walls or moss artworks. It is intended for seasonal decoration only. We are happy to advise you.

At low humidity, the moss can temporarily feel harder and drier, especially in winter when heating is on.
At a normal humidity level of 40–60%, the moss stays soft.

When the humidity rises again, the moss naturally becomes soft.
In extremely dry air, a light white haze may appear. This can be removed by lightly misting the moss with water, and the color will return immediately.

No. Thanks to the preservation process and natural salts, the moss is not attractive to insects.
These salts also make the moss naturally fire-retardant.

Moss has a sound-absorbing effect and reduces echo in a room.
It provides high acoustic damping, making it ideal for both homes and offices.
Reindeer moss and ball moss offer the highest level of sound absorption.

Reindeer moss and flat moss are fixed with staples (over 4,000 staples per m²).
Ball moss is glued.

Despite careful quality checks, a staple may sometimes slightly protrude from the back of the panel. Please be careful when unpacking and placing the artwork.
Tip: place the moss artwork on the cardboard from the box while unpacking.

At first, a light natural scent may be present.
This fades after a few days and disappears faster with good ventilation.
The scent is completely natural and harmless.
If you’d like to neutralize it more quickly, a special moss fragrance spray is available. moss scent spray 

With friction (touching, sliding against a wall or other materials), the moss may transfer a small amount of color.
It is preserved with natural salts and a color tint. Depending on the surface, this can usually be cleaned with water and soap.

Despite careful fixing, small pieces of moss may come loose during transport.
You can simply trim the artwork back into shape with scissors.
This will not cause the moss to turn brown or yellow and does not affect the quality.

Direct sunlight is not recommended.
UV light can cause the moss to fade over time, and bright sunlight can speed up this process.

We offer a 5-year warranty from the date of purchase on our ready-made moss artworks.

No warranty is provided if the moss creation is used outdoors.
We also cannot offer a warranty on loose moss that you process yourself into a moss artwork

Each moss artwork is unique and completely handmade.
The overall look, color, and style will match the example, but as moss is a natural product, small variations may occur.

The example photos are made in the size 100 × 100 cm or 100 cm diameter.
If you choose a different size, the proportions and layout will change.

Our moss artworks are prepared for wall mounting.
The hanging system can be ordered separately.

Circles have 1 hanging hole, rectangular artworks have 2 hanging holes.
With the hanging set (hook and wall plug), drill a hole, insert the plug, screw in the hook, and hang the artwork.

Larger sizes (from Ø150 cm or 200 × 100 cm)

Concrete / stone
Use the hanging set with extra anchor plugs.
First hang the artwork on the hook, then secure it with the anchor plugs through the front. These will be invisibly concealed.

Plaster, wood, or system walls
Fix with screws through the moss and back panel into the wall.
The screws pull the artwork tightly against the wall and remain invisible.

Our moss artworks are mounted on a 12 mm MDF backing. The moss itself varies by type, with a thickness of 3–7 cm.
The edge is standard finished with a black flush side (not a raised frame), unless stated otherwise.

ECO moss: 4–5 cm → total thickness incl. panel: 5 cm
Flat moss: 2–3 cm → total thickness incl. panel: 4 cm
Reindeer moss: 4–6 cm → total thickness incl. panel: 7 cm

You can gently blow dust away using a hairdryer on the cold setting.
You may also carefully vacuum the artwork using the lowest suction setting.

Yes. The moss is non-toxic.
We do advise not to eat it or pull on it.

Yes! Our VCA-certified installers travel throughout the Netherlands and Belgium to place our moss creations.

Our moss artworks are standard finished with a black flush edge of 12 mm. This is not a frame or raised border and gives the most natural look.

Yes, the moss creation can be placed outdoors as long as it stays dry, for example under a canopy, in a conservatory, veranda, or pool house.

Please note that we cannot offer a warranty for outdoor placement due to weather conditions and other natural influences.

Yes, we recommend unpacking the moss artwork after delivery.

The artwork is temporarily protected with foil. If the foil stays on too long, it may leave marks in the moss.
If this happens, lightly mist the moss with water and it will regain its volume.

Please note: the moss is fixed with staples. Despite careful work, a staple may slightly protrude from the back.
Be careful for your own safety and to protect surfaces. Always place the artwork on cardboard or a blanket when unpacking

Yes, as long as the room is well ventilated and the artwork does not get wet.
Jungle-style moss artworks are less suitable, as the leaves do not tolerate high humidity well and may develop mold.
