Where can a moss wall be placed outdoors?

Although the moss is not intended for full outdoor use in wind and weather, it can be used perfectly in semi-open or sheltered outdoor areas, such as:

It’s important that the moss wall stays dry and is not directly exposed to rain or wet conditions.

Effects of UV light and sunlight

Our preserved moss has a long lifespan, but UV radiation can cause the moss to fade over time. Direct sunlight can accelerate this process. That’s why we recommend placing the moss wall in an area that is not exposed to full sun.

Touch and humidity

Just like with indoor use, touch and low humidity can affect the lifespan of the moss wall. When humidity drops below 30%, the moss may feel firmer, but it softens again when the humidity rises. Avoid frequent touching to preserve the structure.

No warranty for outdoor use

Due to unpredictable weather conditions such as rain, wind, or temperature fluctuations, we cannot provide a warranty for moss creations used outdoors. For indoor use, we do offer a warranty on our moss art.
