What is preserved flat moss?

Preserved flat moss is a natural moss type with a smooth, even structure. Through a plant based preservation process, the moss remains flexible, colourfast and decorative without continuing to grow. This makes it the ideal choice for indoor moss decoration, such as moss wall art, moss letters, green panels or acoustic designs in commercial interiors.

Flat moss is completely maintenance free and stays beautiful for 10 to 20 years when used indoors. The moss has a natural appearance, is low odour and ideal for spaces where calm and simplicity are key. When humidity drops below 30%, the moss may temporarily feel slightly firmer. As soon as humidity returns to normal levels, it becomes flexible again on its own.

How do you attach preserved flat moss?

During handling, the moss may shed slightly this is normal and can easily be cleaned with water and soap. For secure mounting, use our specially developed 5 kg ECO moss glue, available in our webshop. Suitable for wood, MDF, foam and other surfaces.
