To process the mosses, we have a special Moss Glue which you can order in addition. The glue is a 100% durable adhesive and can be processed immediately. It is a ready-to-use water-based adhesive for bonding reindeer moss, bulb moss and flat moss to a wide range of substrates (wood, stone, concrete, plaster, metal) indoors. With 1 KG, you can process approximately 0.4-0.6 m² of moss.
Processing the moss glue
Make sure the surface on which you want to place the mosses is clean, dust- and grease-free. Apply the moss glue with a glue comb or brush to the surface to which you want to stick the moss. Optionally, you can order the glue comb. You can pour the glue out of the pot, then use the glue comb to spread the moss glue evenly through the serrations on the comb.
After a short drying time of 5 to 10 minutes (depending on the porosity of the substrate, temperature and amount of glue applied), you can slide the moss over the panel. Making sure there is enough glue on the underside of the moss, push the moss with the sides together. Then press the moss well to ensure good glue transfer. It takes 24 hours for the moss to dry completely, complete curing after 72 hours. Then the moss has reached its final strength (based on +20°C and 60% R.H.).
Remove wet glue residues immediately with lukewarm or warm water.
