Our fresh & moist ball moss is a 100% natural and untreated product. It is harvested directly from nature and supplied fresh and moist. No preservation, colouring or artificial additives – simply pure nature.
Fresh ball moss is known for its characteristic rounded, cushion-like structure. Because the moss is still moist, it feels soft and springy and has a fresh, naturally green appearance.
As this is a genuine natural product, different shades of green, brown areas and other natural materials may be present.

Important to know
This ball moss is completely untreated and comes directly from nature. Natural elements such as pine needles, leaves, small twigs, soil and other organic material may therefore be present.
As the moss is neither treated nor sterilised, small living insects or other small organisms, such as ants, may occasionally be present. This is part of the natural characteristics of an untreated product. We therefore recommend checking the moss before use, particularly when it will be used indoors.
The moss is supplied in a 40 × 30 cm crate containing 2 layers. The top layer generally contains the most attractive and representative moss cushions. The lower layer may be less visually attractive and is ideal for use as a base or filling material.
This version is supplied fresh and moist. As a result, the moss generally looks greener and feels softer and more springy than our dried version.
The colour is completely natural. Depending on the season, harvest and natural growing conditions, it can vary from fresh and light green to olive green with occasional brown areas.
Garden use
When used in the garden, ball moss remains a natural product. Sun, rain, frost, temperature and dry conditions can change its colour, moisture level and structure.
In moist conditions, the moss may appear greener. During prolonged dry periods, it can become browner, drier and more fragile.
We cannot guarantee that the ball moss will establish itself, continue to grow or become permanently established in the garden. This depends on factors including the surface, location, moisture, temperature, light and weather conditions.

This moss is not preserved and is therefore not maintenance-free like the moss used in our moss wall art. It is an untreated natural product intended for decorative, creative and natural applications both indoors and outdoors.
